A. General summary
Zb series knife sharpeners are mainly applied in grinding breadboard wipe cutting machine tungsten steel alloy blade. D. Installation and testing
1. Remove the package and read carefully this instruction
2. When you take out the machine, lift the main frame with both hands at the base of the frame to put it on the permanent seat in the right direction and place it correctly.
3. Rotate the penetration of the tool rail hand wheel with the blade permanent seat working smoothly and stably, or adjust three 5#hexagonal screws on the right of penetration of the tool rail board until it meets the demands above.
4. When the machine leaves the factory, the sharpening angle has been adjusted to about 22 degrees. If the adjusting is necessary , unscrew 8# screw on both sides of the permanent seat of electric frame and 10# screw at the bottom , rotate the machine to desirable angle and screw down the screw.
5. Connect the ground wire of the earth terminator of the main frame.
E. Operation
1. Open the cover and fix the tool apron main axis with the fixed link, unload the gland bush of blade, place the blade in the right direction, reinstall the gland bush of blade, and screw down the gland bush screw. Adjust the angle between the grinding wheel and blade . in case you find the blade touches the grinding wheel, rotate the penetration of the tool hand wheel to separate it.
2. If there is a big nick in the blade, adjust the angle between the grinding wheel and blade bigger to rub down the nick of the blade and readjust the angle of grinding wheel to rub the corresponding angle of the blade.
3. Put down the cover and plug in, switch on and the machine starts working normally.
4. Rotate the penetration of the tool hand wheel to push the blade slowly inside at a constant speed until it touches the grinding wheel, adjust the tightness between the blade and the grinding wheel to make the diamond grinding wheel cooperate with blade well.
Notice: the close touch between the blade and grinding wheel should be avoided, otherwise the grinding wheel and electric machine will be damaged easily and the life span is shortened.
5. Repeat procedure 4 until the blade finishes grinding.
6. This machine is equipped with instant stop device. When the cover is opened, the machine stops working immediately, when the machine is in work, before the cover is opened , separate the blade and the grinding wheel ,then open it.
F. Maintenance
Knife sharpener is the mechanic equipment of high accuracy and the constant maintenance prolongs its use life
1. The rail board needs constant lubrication.
2. After each grinding, clean up the scrap and keep the machine clean.
3. There is a grease fitting in the main axis in the tool apron, and it needs constant excellent grease.
4. The grinding wheel should be diamond grinding wheel and should be replaced in time when damaged.
G. Notice
1. The operation of blade grinding is not allowed when the cover is opened.
2. Switch off and unplug before the operation under the following circumstances:
(1) Install and unload the blade
(2) Adjust the grinding angle of blade
(3) In case of blackout
(4) Maintenance
(5) Cleaning up the grinding scrap
3. During the installation and unload of the blade, the knife-edge should be protected well for fear of shortening the use life of the blade.
